United Hearts for Haiti has made a huge impact to victims of Hurricanes and its newly built trade school is providing hope to the region with courses on first aid & sustainable building practices such as welding, plumbing, & electrical. Get in touch for more information!
Founded in 2008 by Reverend Paul Aladin, a group of Haitian Americans, and residents in Fargo, North Dakota, United Hearts for Haiti seeks to make a difference in the lives of others and share the word of God. It started with a piece of land and has grown into a learning center for both Haitians and the people that travel there to move this project forward.
Our mission it to provide ministry, education, nutrition, and sustainability to people in Haiti. We do this by creating a place of learning that fosters innovation and the willingness to not only better themselves and their family but the society around the people of Haiti as well.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
Bounty: Something given or in generous amounts.
United Hearts for Haiti's Bountiful Backpack program gives kid's the opportunity to attend school with the supplies they need to be successful.
Sustainability: The ability to be maintained at a certain rate or level.
United Hearts for Haiti's Train & Sustain Trade School Program assists individuals in a rural area to learn skills that can be used to build capacity and infrastructure across the country.
Individuals will learn trades such as welding, plumbing, electrical, and efficient green building construction.
In a country with many limitations having access to medical knowledge and assistance is critical and can transform the island!
United Hearts for Haiti's Medical Mobility Transformation is a grass roots community wide initiative. Participants take part in hands-on first aid & home health training. This education piece is crucial to survival in Haiti's hurricane prone regions.
United Hearts for Haiti will also have a mobile clinic that when needed can reach areas in need with supplies & care.
Do you have experience with construction, electrical, plumbing or more?
We are looking for people to not only help finish details on the school but to travel with us year round to help educate. Haiti lacks the knowledge not only how to rebuild but to create an infrastructure within its cities and villages where people can live in healthy homes and neighborhoods.
Calling all Master-gardeners or backyard enthusiasts!
Haiti's soil is rich and warm yet some don't use it to it's full potential. We have areas ready to plant with vitamin rich foods, fruit trees, mini community gardens and more. Help us teach families and neighborhoods that they can sustain their family's food sources year round by planting their own vegetables, herbs & more.
Haiti does not have free education like the U.S.
Families have to pay for their children to get an education and when they can often learning centers are far away which adds additional burdens. Recently people have sponsored students to learn. Now with technology like Whats-app and Facebook Messenger you can keep in contact and enjoy together all the accomplishments together!
